The ACQuA 2026 conference on February 9 and 10, 2026 marks the second national meeting of the French chapter of Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology.
As last year, the event will feature a variety of formats to encourage interaction, dialogue, and networking among archaeologists with an interest in computational and quantitative approaches. Various formats will be offered during the two days of the Meeting: two short sessions (early career researchers' forum and “I've tested it for you!” forum), a poster session and a thematic session, with calls for papers; a round table on the uses of AI in archaeology and the humanities and social sciences.
This year's event will take place in Tours at the MSH Val de Loire.
For those who wish, a carpooling and/or cohabitation system has been set up. To participate, please register using this form.
Material aid is also available for early career researchers upon application.
